Glad to hear how much you love the heroine, Lan! Hahaha, sometimes I also think that some heroines are too good to be true. :P Flawed characters are always interesting.

Awesome review! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10224746396123025992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2249141384507760517.post-7374430051140763852014-03-15T05:15:58.586+11:002014-03-15T05:15:58.586+11:00Yayyy!!! I dont really ind flashbacks, so that was never really an issue for me, and as for the tattoos, though I personally have none, I love seeing them on a guy (though my fiance also has none..ha!) so Camden was right up my alley. I even like Javier, though admttedly not after this book, I didnt start liking him until after the prequel, and after Shooting Scars. Halle is coming out with so many books, I often can't keep up, but I'm obsessed with almost all of them. I bought the prequel so I can at least get a taste of the series. Glad to see you enjoyed it and that the characters aren't perfect or one dimensional. :)Jessica L. Doesn't sound like the kind of book I'd enjoy, but you can't argue with success. ;-) I do think there's nothing especially Disney about a tale of redemption. Disney is sweet princesses singing duets with bluebirds. There are plenty of classic tales of redemption out there and personally, I prefer them to the "let's be realistic" stories which indicate that once a nasty always a nasty(which may be true in the case of certain politicians)and after reading Margaret Clarke's Care Factor Zero, which ends with the heroine jumping to her death after realising who her father is, I can't read the stuff. Not even by the multi-award-winning Sonya Hartnett, who can't leave well alone even in an otherwise nice story.Sue Bursztynskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09362273418897882971noreply@blogger.com
