I felt nothing for either of the two love interests. Zip. And usually, I will like anything! It's a bit hard to express. The characters were a letdown but the writing and concept were amazing. Hmmm am a bit torn, sounds like you were reviewing it too. The concept does sound different/unusual. I like yr comparision with Tris in Divergent.
