Follow Friday (11) - V for Villian Week

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkie and Alison. It's a really fun way to get to know other bloggers and pick up a few new followers on the way.

This week's question is: Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one?

I'm going to risk a lot of flack this week but I'm feeling very villainy so I'm going to just come out and say that I really wanted James to bite Bella in Twilight. Then Edward would die of grief and the next few books could be about Jasper....what are your picks guys?

PS. If you haven't already done so, don't forget to enter my Wolfborn giveaway!!

  1. I loved the joker especially Heath. :) I was kinda thinking the Volturi.

  2. Ash: By the end of the first book, I didn't care who bit Bella. I just wanted it to happen.

  3. I still haven't read Twilight and for that I'm glad. I don't think I ever will. Sitting through two movies was bad enough.
Maybe Edward should have just let Bella get attacked in the first book and it would all have been over before it started and the world wouldn't have to be exposed to it in the first place. :P

Thanks for stopping by my blog. :D

  5. Hi!--New follower!

LOVE your answer!!!--I always got the impression with Bella's general klutziness and magnetic attraction to predators that she was *meant* to die--Edward should have bit her from the start!!!

As for me, my vote goes to Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones, it's not his fault he was born a Lannister!!!

  6. New follower! Great answer! I'm not a Twilight fan...at all. I read the books so that I could say I did, and it was the longest week of my life.

  9. I give you wootness Lan, one of the only other people so far that has named a book!

I have to disagree about the book though, because I didn't dislike Edward and Bella until the second book.

    Happy Friday!

  14. LOL. James is actually a good answer and I can't believe that I didn't think of him. I did, however, manage to think of the Volturi collectively as a group. :)

    Have a great weekend.

  15. Ha ha ha! This is a fantastic answer and I'm a Twilight fan, lol. I think it would've saved a lot of grief if they had just let Bella turn vampire when she was first bitten. Oh well. And, I'd love me some more Jasper in the books.

  16. LOL! I didn't realise there was so much anti Bella and Edward sentiment :) I don't have anything against the Twilight books in general but Bella just really irked me. Thanks for all your comments guys. Discussion is so much fun.

  18. That would have been an awesome turn of events!! I thought Bella's actual transformation into a vampire was horribly dull.

  19. I am team Jasper all the way! It would've saved a lot of grief in the books and made the books more exciting. Instead of four books leading up to her turning, why not make it happen sooner?

  20. You won't get any flack from me! I wanted a lot of things to happen in the Twilight books that didn't. ;)

  21. Haha, have you seen that video? How Twilight Should Have Ended

  22. That is so funny because I wrote about Twilight in my post too. Bella is annoying.

  23. LOL. That's so funny. I don't like Edward that much either.

  24. Mmmm, Jasper! Yeah. I could handle that... :)

    Great answer!

  25. I said on another blog that I think a villain being the one to bite Bella would have been more interesting, because then she might've been more conflicted about being a vamp. I agree that Jasper needs his own book. So does Rosalie!
